Kabarak University Public Policy Research Analysis Club (KUPPRAC) Club (KUPPRAC), in partnership with Egerton University, had the opportunity to attend the inaugural Electric Vehicle Awareness event held on February 18th, 2023, at Karura Forest, Nairobi. The event brought together two student clubs, KUPPRAC and Egerton University's Environmental Club, to learn about the Electric Mobility Revolution in Kenya. The Green Global Footprint Initiative (GGFI) organized the event with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility and transport, environmental consciousness, and the use of clean and renewable energy (SDG 7) to address climate change.

The inaugural data science and artificial intelligence (DS&AI) conference 2023 came to a close on 3rd February 2023. The 3 day event attracted 275 unique participants representing 51+ different professionals from over 87 organizations across the world. A total of 26 presentations provided great content for a very lively academic discourse in 7 presentation sessions.

This year (2022) the University hosted the 12th Annual International Research Conference between the 28th of March – the 19th of October 2022, which participants attended both physically and virtually.

The Kabarak University School of Music and Media is the youngest formed school which was instituted earlier this year under the leadership of the founding Dean Professor Mellitus Wanyama. The school is currently hosting its 1st two-day Annual International Research Conference on Refocusing Music and other performing arts for sustainable development, at the School of Music and Performing Arts Library.
Ambreena Manji is a Land Law and Development Professor at Cardiff University, where she co-founded the Law and Global Justice Centre. Previously seconded as the Director of British Institute in Eastern Africa (2010 -2014). Her research is focused on Law and Society in Africa.
