Last week, Kabarak University proudly hosted the 4th Edition of the Central Rift Innovation Week (CRIW 2025) at the Main Campus from 15th to 19th September 2025, under the theme “Transforming Ideas into Impact: Innovating for a Better Tomorrow.” Organized by the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Outreach (RIO), the week-long event brought together academia, government, industry, entrepreneurs, startups, and development partners in a shared mission to catalyze innovation and drive impact.

Kabarak University’s 15th International Research Conference Advances Cancer Care and Launches First Oncology Pharmacy Master’s Program in Kenya

The School of Pharmacy at Kabarak University, in partnership with the International Cancer Institute, today hosted its 15th International Research Conference at the Katiba Law School Auditorium. Held under the theme “Advancing Access to Quality Cancer Care and Control,” the two-day conference, running from September 18–19, 2025, brought together students, faculty, and professionals to address one of Kenya's most pressing public health challenges. The event highlighted the University’s commitment to providing holistic, Christian-based education that is mindful of others and serves both God and humanity.

Kabarak University strengthens national innovation agenda through ELTP collaboration

Our Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiptiony Kiplangat, PhD, MBS, OGW, joined fellow university leaders for a pivotal meeting convened by the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) under the Entrepreneurial Leadership Training Program (ELTP). The session brought together 14 Vice-Chancellors from earlier ELTP phases and 11 newly onboarded, fostering collaboration and shared commitment to building Kenya’s innovation-driven future.
