Kabarak University is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Professor Mellitus Wanyama, who was recently invited to deliver a keynote lecture at the University of Venda's (UNIVEN) Africa Day celebration.

Kabarak University is proud to announce a significant academic achievement within our esteemed institution. Dr. Frederick Otieno Oginga, a distinguished lecturer in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Clinical Medicine, has recently earned his PhD in Medical Physiology. This accomplishment not only marks a personal milestone for Dr. Otieno but also sets a new precedent in our academic community and the broader region.

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Kabarak University School of Music and Media (SMM) hosted a vibrant Mentorship Program in collaboration with the Constitution and Reform Education Consortium (CRECO). The program aimed to empower future journalists—the next generation to tackle the critical issue of fake news in Kenya's digital landscape.

The Kabarak University Department of Guidance and Counseling is actively engaged in promoting student and staff well-being. From May 22nd to 24th, 2024, a team of counselors from the department participated in a workshop organized by the Kenya Universities Professional Counselors' Association (KUPCA) at Chuka University.

Kabarak University held a comprehensive induction program today, welcoming both new staff members and trainers from the Kabarak University TVET Institute. Designed to cultivate a sense of belonging within the wider Kabarak University community, the program featured presentations from various departments, schools, directors, and members of management. Vice-Chancellor Professor Henry Kiplagat led the day's events.

Kabarak University is proud to celebrate the achievements of Caroline Chebet, a second-year student in the Department of Mass Communication. Caroline was recently awarded the Excellence in Biodiversity Reporting Award by the Earth Journalism Network (EJN) during their 20th-anniversary event held in Palo Alto, California.
