Kabarak University celebrated the outgoing classes of 4.2's and 5.3's with a heartwarming Wednesday special chapel. The momentous occasion where students were dedicated to the Lord and commissioned to showcase to the world the transformative impact of their Kabarak experience. Led by the students themselves, the chapel featured a panel discussion moderated by the Kabarak University Chaplain, Rev. Justus Mutuku, providing valuable insights into their remarkable Kabarak journey. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, left an indelible mark with his fatherly talk, inspiring the graduates to be the best version of themselves as they embarked on their journey beyond the university's gates.

Recently, we successfully completed a comprehensive review of our curriculum, meticulously fine-tuning our courses to align with pharmacists' ever-evolving needs. Our aim is to ensure that our graduates are equipped with the highest level of competence and skills, enabling them to excel in their careers.

The Kabarak University center for Health Informatics in conjunction with Google Health and Intellisoft Consulting hosted a series of webinars, bootcamps and a hackathon in June and July 2023 to introduce participants to the Open Health Stack as a set of key concepts and tooling required to build next gen digital health apps.

July marks a significant milestone for the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) as they celebrate Human Resource Month along with the 10th anniversary of the enactment of the Human Resource Management Professionals Act, Number 52 of 2012. To commemorate this momentous occasion, IHRM has partnered with Kabarak University, Egerton University, St. Paul's University, and Mount Kenya University for a career talk aimed at empowering and encouraging aspiring human resource professionals. The event aims to recognize, appreciate, and raise awareness of the vital role played by HR professionals in the success of organizations.

Kabarak University has made notable advancements in the latest Webometrics rankings. In the July 2023 edition, the university moved up one position to secure the 21st spot in Kenya. This is a significant improvement from its previous positions of 22 in January 2023 and 24 in the July 2022 editions. This achievement highlights the university's commitment to excellence and its growing impact on the academic world.

In a remarkable show of partnership and dedication to fostering development, Kabarak University's School of Science & Information Technology took a significant step forward in strengthening ties with the County Government of Meru. The university's delegation, comprising Dr. Andrew Kipkebut and Ruoro Simon, both esteemed lecturers, paid a courtesy call to Dr. Kiambi Atheru, the County Secretary and Head of Public Service. The meeting, held in Dr. Atheru's office, centered on exploring potential areas of collaboration for mutual benefit.
