Their outstanding performance in the memorial writing stage and subsequent rounds has placed them among the top contenders in Africa and has secured them a coveted spot in the Advanced Global rounds to be held in Geneva, Switzerland. CUE Impressed by Kabarak University's Commitment to CBC: A Promising Leap Forward

The Commission of University Education (CUE) paid a visit to Kabarak University to assess the institution's investment in Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) capabilities. The commission was astounded by the significant resources Kabarak has put in place to ensure CBC compliance, especially when compared to other universities' readiness for CBC implementation. During their visit, they held a brief meeting with the university's management team, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, before proceeding to the boardroom to meet with the deans of the university's seven schools.

Strengthening Academic Bonds: A Courtesy Call between Kabarak University and University of Venda

In a significant stride towards enhancing international collaborations and fostering academic partnerships, Professor Madimabe Geoff Mapaya, a distinguished professor from the facultyof Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Venda in South Africa, recently paid a courtesy call to Professor Henry K. Kiplangat, the Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University. This meeting held great significance as the two universities have an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and sought to deliberate on the operationalization of this agreement. The visit marked an important step towards strengthening academic bonds and promoting mutual growth and collaboration between the two institutions.

School of Music and Media Welcomes Media Council of Kenya for a Knowledge-Sharing Session with Mass Communication Students

Kabarak University's School of Music and Media, known for its excellence in producing competent professionals, recently had the privilege of hosting distinguished guests from the Media Council of Kenya (MCK). Led by Mecha Joseph, the Media Council of Kenya Nakuru Region Coordinator, the delegation included Ms. Angel Wanjala a finalist student currently working with MCK, and Joan Kittony, their administrative assistant. The purpose of their visit was to enlighten and inspire the media students at Kabarak University on journalists' accreditation, the journalist's code of conduct, and the life of a journalist, and to answer questions on careers in journalism.
